More SC-based SNL Skits Coming

Think Richard Eckstrom's inclusion in a Saturday Night Live skit this weekend was shocking?

Just wait to see what the late night comedy team has in store for South Carolina next.

According to an exclusive interview with the show's founder, Lorne Michaels, the Palmetto State will soon be a fixture in the weekly lineup.

"We're very excited about our 'Toonces the Driving Treasurer' series," Michaels told FITS. "We're also pleased to announce a new Wayne's World spinoff called 'Dre's World' featuring Andre Bauer and Mark Hammond."

Additional skits contemplated by Micheals include Mark and Jenny Sanford reprising the famous Craig and Arianna cheerleading duo, Hugh Leatherman and Harvey Peeler portraying the Roxbury boys, Bobby Harrell and Dan Cooper dressing up as Hanz and Franz (proceeding to pump up each other and the budget) and last but not least, Sic Willie anchoring the 'Weekend Update' desk alongside Laurin Manning.

"This state is just a gold mine," Michaels said.

And don't forget...Drew Theodore riding in the back seat, arranging computer hook ups with female Audi drivers along the way...blogging about how he hates Columbia, but loves the ladies (especially those that are not his wife)!

Hot stuff!

Agreed! Spartans’ Cheerleaders, Andre and Mark, could build a cheerleading pyramid with Jenny on top - just the way she likes it.
People forget that these guys have experience with a pom pom or two.

I just went to re-read the post by Mr. Theodore concerning his thoughts about marital affairs and parties with women other than his wife…and it looks like they have been removed!!!

So here we have a guy, running for statewide office, that makes questionable comments about women and marriage…and then he hides the post so the public can not see them!!!

Is this anyway for a candidate to act? Add to this that Jim Rex linked to a VERY QUESTIONABLE article about Karen Floyd…and then promptly removed it as soon as 1. the information was public on a statewide basis, and 2. as soon as people started complaining about the poor ethics used by the Rex campaign…you see the Democrats have decided to go down and dirty.

The Democrats must be desperate….
