It was 100% unethical and he was always using the USC position for inside information for his pro-Gamecock stories. Basically it was USC paying him to write positive stories while he was supposed to be giving "fair and balanced" coverage.<BR/><BR/>The more things change, right "Will?" I have my "source,"...Spurrier isn't going anywhere. I have my "source," too--only my isn't on background and can be identified as "common sense." Spurrier has staked his reputation as a truly legendary (vs. just really good) coach on making USC a champion. He's a man of his word, and I'll take him at it.
